GAME2014 Team

‘GAME – Global Approach by Modular Experiments’ is a worldwide program to study Global Change that is coordinated by the Helmholtz Center GEOMAR in Kiel, Germany. The program concept is to implement identical experiments across geographical and climatic boundaries. The Indonesian GAME Team 2014, consisting of a German and an Indonesian student, situated at the IPB Department of Marine Science & Technology (ITK), and advised by EMBRIO Director Dr. Neviaty Zamani as well as EMBRIO International Senior Advisor Dr. Carsten Thoms, investigated the  effect of microplastic on benthic invertebrates. The GAME project is one out of several currently intensifying links of EMBRIO to German research institutes.
